Scotland Marshall Plumbing was engaged to complete the full plumbing, roofing and cladding package for this architectural new build in Daylesford, with our team involved from the below-ground drainage through to the final roofing and cladding works.

The plumbing package included sanitary and stormwater drainage, a sewer pump station and stormwater soakage system, along with all internal plumbing for two bathrooms, powder room, kitchen, laundry and outdoor kitchenette. The property also incorporated a heat pump hot water system, two 5,000L fire service rainwater tanks and an additional 3,000L rainwater tank supplying recycled water to toilets, irrigation and external hose taps.

The roofing was completed in Monument Klip-Lok, with contrasting cappings providing additional architectural detail. A major feature of the project was the extensive Matt Monument cladding, which was installed across the external walls and incorporated into sections of the roof to create a seamless finish alongside the rendered concrete elements.

With complex drainage requirements, extensive rainwater storage and a highly detailed roofing and cladding package, this was a challenging project that showcased the full range of SMP’s capabilities across a single build.
