Scotland Marshall Plumbing was engaged to complete the roofing package for this architectural renovation and extension in Hawthorn, featuring a unique twisted roof design over the new addition.

The main extension roof was designed to fall in opposing directions, with a box gutter to one side and an eaves gutter to the other. Rather than separating the two roof planes with a traditional parapet, the roof structure twists between the opposing falls, creating a continuous and intricate roofline that required careful set-out and detailing throughout the installation.

Connecting the original home to the new extension is a flat Klip-Lok roof, with an additional Klip-Lok roof installed over the side extension. Our works also included custom flashing to the existing bay window and sections of corrugated wall cladding.

The combination of opposing roof falls, custom detailing and multiple roofing profiles made this a technically interesting project and a great example of the architectural roofing work our team can deliver.
