Project Overview

Scotland Marshall Plumbing was engaged to complete the internal plumbing and sanitary drainage package for this new luxury home in Balwyn.

The project included plumbing across six bathrooms, a powder room, main kitchen, butler’s pantry, laundry and basement bar, along with the installation and connection of specialist fixtures and appliances including a Billi tap, steam oven and fridge water supply.

A complete new gas service was installed throughout the property, supplying two internal gas fireplaces, gas cooktop, two hot water systems, pool heater and outdoor BBQ. The hot water installation included both an instantaneous gas unit and a gas storage system with solar boosting.

With a large number of wet areas and gas appliances spread throughout the home, the project required careful planning and coordination of the plumbing, sanitary drainage, hot water and gas services from rough-in through to final fit-off.

SMP worked closely with Luxury Homes and the other trades throughout construction to ensure all services were installed neatly, coordinated with the build and ready for the final architectural finishes.
